Some Minor Details.....

I thought I would first share a few minor details about this blog and about me. So here it goes: I wanted to create blog to allow followers to see my journey as becoming an empty nester (in 3 years), crafting, cooking, secret shopping, and all things F.U.N. I have always loved to write. In starting this blog, I wanted to keep things a bit personal, so this is a step away from my family blog that shares a more private approach. So about the name. Welp, I wanted something a bit creative and descriptive of what I see on a daily basis. No, I am not having the baby blues. Occasionally I do because I miss have little ones in the house running around driving me insane, but my baby blues are my husband's {ojos} eyes. He has gorgeous blue eyes, while I have deep, dark brown eyes. The baby blues that I occasionally feel are moments when I sit in the quiet and realize that my two boys are becoming fine young men. One is graduating soon and the other, has about 3 years. BOO! So that is a bit about my family and me. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the content that I will begin sharing. XO, Me

I am the "P" in procrastinator!

Have any of you ever started a project and you were all gung-ho about it in hopes that it would turn out the way it's is in your mind? I have. I fail every time too! So I have about 4 projects in my garage that I have started in 2011. 2011 PEOPLE!! So I am hoping to catch up on those projects this weekend...or at least one of them. Stay tuned for the before, and the after...3 years later!

New Year, New ME

I typically (like every other person) make New Year's resolutions.  However, this year is much different. I am not going to make a resolution, but I will be setting goals. At least that was the thought process on December 31st.  My goals are to show more fruits of the spirit, get my eldest son all planned out for college, cry because he is going to college, pay off debt, buy a home, cry again because my eldest is leaving to college, make sure my youngest is okay that his brother is leaving to college and complete all the projects I started on last year!

Okay, so to kick off the new blog (one of my goals that I failed to list) I want to talk about things. I want to talk DIY, cooking, prepping a kid to go to college and enjoying the last few years with our youngest.  I hope you follow me on my journey, so please add to your favorites. I could really use the company!!

Take care,
Me
